One Day Course

PADI Discover Scuba Diving



An extended version of the Try a Dive program

The discover scuba diving program is an extended version of the Try a Dive program in which you receive more specific information related to diving practices, diving techniques and it’s a great was how to progress from a complete beginner to becoming a qualified diver.


The program lasts approximately 4 hours and no prior experience is required to join this activity.


In fact the DSD is based on the first section of the PADI Open Water Diver Course You will also have 2 dives and this gives you more time to learn and acquire basic in water exercises and also discover the underwater world.

This experience can also be credited for the PADI Open water course shall you decide to continue with your training. In fact students who decide to do so will not need to pay for the DSD but simply for the Open water Course since the experience will be considered part of the actual Open Water Course.

On the other hand students that attend this program and have only the one day course will be registered with PADI as having completed the DSD activity and can also receive credit shall they decide to enroll for the open water course at a later stage. However it’s important to state that the DSD program does not include and qualification and your max depth will be of 12mt.
