PADI Open Water Upgrade
| Upgrade your PADI Scuba Diver certification to Open Water Diver. This means that you will be no longer limited to 12mt but instead can dive up to 18mt. In addition you will learn how to work out your own dive planning giving you the ability to dive, with a buddy, independently from an instructor. |
It’s important to note that in some regions an open water qualification may not be sufficient to dive independently from a local dive centre. Such an example is Malta where an Advanced Open Water certificate (or equivalent) is required. For more information you can visit our Local regulations page. What ever the case may be continuing your diving education and experience is key to your safety and enjoy while diving. Not only you will become more knowledgeable about the right diving techniques but as part of the process you will slowly build confidence and experience that are fundamental for become ultimately a safe responsible diver. The continuation of the course from Scuba Diver to Open Water Level requires the completion of Modules 4 & 5 from the Open Water Manual, 2 confined training sessions and 2 Open water dives. |

Your Next Adventure:
After completing the Open Water course you
will want to gain more experience and possibly dive in different
environments such as wrecks, deeper dives or even diving at night. This
is where the Adventures in diving program such as the advanced course
come into play. The PADI Advanced Open Water course will make you go
deeper, see more and discover new places, extending your depth range up
to 30meters.
