Gain the confidence, skills, and knowledge to dive beyond recreational limits safely. This course builds a strong foundation for divers who want to progress into advanced technical diving and tackle deeper, more complex dives.


  • Elearning for self study 
  • Technical Extended Range (Air) Certification upon completition
  • Technical diving gear (twinsets, sidemount equipment, regulators, wings, stages)

  • Amount of Academic Sessions: 2
  • Amount of Pool/Confined Water Sessions: 1
  • Amount of Open Water Sessions: 6
  • Maximum Training Depth: 50m / 165ft

  • Minimum Age: 18
  • Have logged at least: 70 total dives, 20 dives deeper than 30 meters, 10 dives requiring staged decompression with at least one (1) gas switch (not including training dives).
  • Have at least one (1) of the following SSI certifications or an equivalent from a recognized training agency: Extended Range, Full Cave Diving, Technical Wreck Diving

What does ‘Medical Fit’ mean?

If you answered YES* to questions 3, 5 or 10 above OR to any of the questions on page 2 you need written medical approval from your doctor to be able to join the activity. Take all three pages of the medical form (Participant Questionnaire and the Physician’s Evaluation Form) to your physician for a medical evaluation.
