Technical Extended Range (Air)

Take your diving beyond recreational limits with our Technical Extended Range (Air) course. This program teaches experienced divers how to safely plan and perform decompression dives using air and nitrox, manage multiple gas switches, and execute dives with control and confidence.

Certification Prerequisites

• Minimum Age: 18
• Have logged at least: 70 total dives, 20 dives deeper than 30 meters, 10 dives requiring staged decompression with at least one (1) gas switch (not including training dives).
• Have at least one (1) of the following SSI certifications or an equivalent from a recognized training agency: Extended Range, Full Cave Diving, Technical Wreck Diving
• Medical Fit (PDF)

FAQ

What does ‘Medical Fit’ mean?

If you answered YES* to questions 3, 5 or 10 above OR to any of the questions on page 2 you need written medical approval from your doctor to be able to join the activity. Take all three pages of the medical form (Participant Questionnaire and the Physician’s Evaluation Form) to your physician for a medical evaluation.
