The SSI Boat Diving Specialty teaches you the skills and techniques needed to safely and confidently dive from different types of boats, from small personal craft to large liveaboards. By becoming a boat diver, you will gain access to offshore dive sites teeming with marine life, including schooling pelagics and larger marine species not found near the shore.
You can also experience the excitement of liveaboard diving, explore remote locations, and enjoy more dives away from the crowds. Through a combination of online learning and open water training, this course will prepare you to dive from boats anywhere in the world.
