Curious about scuba diving? The SSI Basic Diver program is your perfect introduction to the underwater world. Under the supervision of an SSI Professional, you’ll learn essential skills and experience diving down to 12 meters, giving you a taste of what lies beneath the surface. Your Basic Diver certification allows you to continue diving up to 12 meters for six months at any SSI Dive Center worldwide, so you can keep exploring. If you decide to take the next step, your training can be credited toward the Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver certification within six months, making it easy to continue your diving journey!
The Ultimate Basic Diver program includes the chance to explore either a shipwreck or our Marine Protected Park, making your dive even more special!!

Take all three pages of the medical form (Participant Questionnaire and the Physician’s Evaluation Form) to your physician for a medical evaluation.
